GETTING STARTED
It can be a bit overwhelming to start a site. How do you get going? What do you need and what will it cost?
Call us at 970-376-6631 and we can set up a time to talk or send a quick email to dave@bishopwebworks.com
STEP 1
In order to give you a FAIR estimate we need to get an idea of what your business does. Once we figure out what your company does.... than we can get an idea of what kind of functionality you will need. Most people want to know what it will cost before moving forward. If you'd like to obtain a cost estimate or proposal, please complete and submit one of our free website planners. A solid, better-organized concept of what you want in your new website is the best way to start. Please print out the BishopWebWorks, Inc - NEW WEBSITE PLANNER (PDF document)
STEP II
Based on your responses from the website planner you have filled out , we will create a custom project proposal for your business. . This usually takes around 2 business days. The estimate will explain the technology we recommend to build the site, the timeline and cost. We build custom sites and custom solutions unique to your business so each estimate is unique to what you need.
If you approve the estimate proposal then we will send you a more formal contract and get started. Before we start work on any site we require 50% deposit along with a signed contract by the responsible party in your company
STEP IIIAfter we've received the signed contract and the initial payment (50% of the project's estimated cost), we begin the creation of your website. We then come up with an image mock. This is just an image mock and gives you an idea of what the site will look like. This is when we need your input and comments. The mock is just a mock and this is when we want all of your comments questions and concerns. It is very easy to change the image mock and gets harder to change items the further along in the process we get.
STEP IV
After discussing what you like or do not like on the image mock
we take the image design and get a final approved look and feel for the site. Once the mock is approved we start coding and slicing up the image into working code. We generally use HTML, CSS, Flash and PHP for coding. However if you want to use a different programming language we are able to assist in that as well.
The final mock is done as well as the coding and we let you review the site in an HTML format. This is a final review and once you approve that we make the site "LIVE". Then you, your clients and everyone you know can admire your newly created website.
